Just took delivery of Figarti's Grant Tank from Clive at Grey Goose.Absolutely superb vehicle i really like it.The camo is very well done its very subtle and effective. The figures are both very good indeed.I like the way the guy hangs out of the side hatch whilst speaking into his radio. Also a good idea to have two Monty figures, one a whole figure and the other one in two pieces. This allows for different scenarios and is a clever move. The Tank itself is well made and has some nice spots of rust here and there.I also think the canvas gun protector is spot on.This is already my favourite Figarti Tank and will be in the heart of my growing 8th Army.If you've not guessed it i'm very pleased with it!;):)

It's always negative with you Rob, isn't it?
C'mon, there must be something about it you like. ;):p

I'm going to have to give this one a serious looking at, at London.

You'll love it mate.

Rob,
I told you you'd be impressed.
Now, just to clarify, there is only 1 Monty (ask Louis) figure presented as either in the turret hatch or able to be a standing figure also.
The other standing figure is a second officer. If he is placed behind the turret with Monty sitting in the turret hatch you will recognise the famous picture when viewed from the front.
Just to rub it in there is this exact photo in the Imperial War Museum in London sitting in front of the refurbished Monty Grant. I'm sure you would have seen it. (Tee Hee)
And Simon tell the bank manager Metal and polystone, it's the Figarti way you know!! :)
Regards
Clive

Congrat's Rob! I just got mine also. it's a great piece good sculpting and painting. The figures keep improving with each release.
However I can't seem to get the figure hanging out of the side hatch to stay put with out tackywax. Which I hate to use as it gets all over everything and sometimes stains. Do you have any hint suggestions or ideas?
O.C.

My problem with the hatch guy also. Even the wax doesn,t work well.

Well Rob I prefer the Full Monty to the half Monty anyday

Just received my figarti tank.it will be my last.inside of side hatch was broken off so that the figure that slips in there could not attach.guess i am stuck with it.had similar difficulties with PZKW IV.
Anyone share my experience?

Hey OC,well i found he fell off a couple of times to start with, but what i do now is make sure his elbow/arm is well over the edge and he seems to stay there Ok.Glad you like the tank though,as you say Figarti's releases are getting better all the time.

Rob

I had the same problem with the guy in the side hatch. Also that little antenna broke of but that was easy fix really.

Hi Guys,

Much apologies for small problems (Broken Hatch, Loose Figures etc..) with the Monty, if anyone needs help with repairs or part replacements, please feel free to private message me, we will certainly try to make things right. Again, sorry for any inconvenience caused, and as always, thank you for your support!

Thanks.I really am liking Figartis recent releases a lot, both their figures and Tanks are spot on.With K&C and Figarti we have a growing choice of excellant military vehicles.I didn't add Collectors showcase above because i'm waiting to see their Stug in London in December, looks good from the pics though.

Rob

Just received mine today an am quite pleased. Haven't tried as yet to position the figure in the side hatch so nice to see what others have done. Also, found a small brass strap at the bottom of the package. Can't figure out where it goes Can some one please advise where this strap was attached?
