Just had an earthquake in DC area (1 Viewer)

Thanks, Chris. Wait till you see the new UMd football "uniforms". They got 4 different color jersey's (red, black, yellow, or white, sound familier?) and 4 different color pants to mix and match. Plus black helmets (didn't see an emblem). Jeesh, I think the circus wagon broke down while traveling through College Park.:rolleyes2: -- Al

Must be the same circus wagon that stopped in Oregon and dropped off those lime green/yellow/black uniforms for the ducks................

LOL. George, it has to be the same group. Apparently there are 32 uniform combinations for the mighty Terps of UMd now, including 2 different helmets. What a waste of money. Pick one and live with it. Heck, there are only 12 games. I guess there will be a half-time uni change from now on. :rolleyes2:{sm3} -- Al

Two jokes making the rounds in the wake of yesterday's quake:

It was the effect of all of our Founding Fathers turning over in their graves at the same time.

The President issued a statement from Martha's Vinyard: "It was Bush's fault."

For the record, we have quakes here in the East Coast more frequently than people would think, but they're usually of very low strength. We sit in the middle of the North American plate, rather than on the boundary where two plates meet, so the fault lines are more from settling and cracking on a huge scale.

In our building, it felt like a fat guy walking past. Our floor has a little bit of a bounce to it, anyway.

Prost!
Brad

I woke to what I thought was quake about 30 years ago. The quartz rods in my quartz heater were rattling like crazy. Soon I found that is was just my passionate next door neighbors.

...and it's probably was Bush's fault.

It's a great pun, isn't it? The joke virtually writes itself.

That sounds like Michael J Fox's apartment in "Secret of My Success" :D
