Welcome to the forum spartan, I have the Monty Grant version and as nicely detailed as it is the wheels and tracks do NOT function.

Thanks for the Information , Rob and Oz. I really appreciate it. At least now I know, And Definitely. Will try to get more Figarti's. I think as far as the picture goes. Its definitely better Than the K&C products. So my concentration would be in the Figarti. THANKS again!! And thank you too for the welcome!!

Your welcome spartan. Figarti certainly have better detail than most K & C tanks but they also need more care in their handling especially the Lee/Grant you are getting. I collect WWII based models from a variety of makers including Figarti, Honour Bound and K & C etc and have found that each has their advantages and disadvantages.

Ditto on the you're welcome Spartan.Oz has nailed it with the advantages of different suppliers. Also some of these sets go very well together,Figarti's Tanks for instance go well with K&C Tanks and figures. We all have our faves but its good to be spoilt for choice isn't it.:)

Ah!, That explains the thread someplace( I can not find it anymore its in a different place though), That track was functional. Thanks again!!

I didn't know that. Did Rick say why they didn't continue making functional treads on their tanks released since the Tiger?
On Figarti's 1/32 scale Tigers, the tracks were made like the real thing ... separate metal links held together with pins. At the introduction of the Tiger at the Chicago show several years ago, Rick mentioned that it took one Figarti employee 1.5 days just to make tracks for just one side of a tank. Since then, labor costs in China have increased dramatically. As a result, I believe the cost of doing something like that now would make the vehicle too expensive for most collectors.:(
