K&C #1, what,s your second favorite? (1 Viewer)

That sidecar cycle is pretty amazing! And with what K&C sidecars go for in the secondary market, it isn't even all that much more expensive.

Yep, amazing is a pretty good way of putting it. I thought K&C was good but wow. I would think with the detail these figures have, the painter's must suffer from eye strain after completing each piece. I really like the Greek War Elephant. I wonder if there is a secondary market for these figures after retirement.

Price wise, that's still very expensive to me ($795!) and that baby's not even retired. When it is, then it will make K & C's sidecars look like a bargain.

After King & Country, I go for «old rivals» Britains, either plastic Deetail or metal. FOV are also nice and Conte are under my looks. These all about WWII. But these days you've got to have an open mind and a sharp eye: I'm also falling in love with different stuff, from other historical periods, like from Fusilier, Troiani, Imperial, Tradition of London, more traditional toy soldiers ( except for too rosy cheeks, not for my taste ). Deep deep trouble building up...

Bye,
Paulo
