Nice photos Mac , just wish had done the p51 with a open canopy as make for a better base dio
 
Great pictures of the iconic Mustang. Actually, the color image (photo #3) graced the cover of a book, Landmark #96, Great American Fighter Pilots of World War II, that was one of my favorite books as I was growing up. I have had a copy since it was published in 1961 and the image has always been my favorite one of the P-51. The KC version looks outstanding and I think I may put it on my 'buy' list, if just to return (again) to my childhood. -- Al

Good job matching up an image of the real P-51 to the K&C war bird. Another example of numerous times I have seen actual WWII images used to create or base a K&C item of, either vehicle, plane, or figures !
