Here is my K&C American Revolution Diorama - I really love this battlefield with the Old K&C American Cannon Crew and the Marching Brits

Again - my apologies for the quality of these pictures

Enjoy:

You have a very large collection of figures Ron.About how many do you think you have all told?
Mark

Not really sure - probally don't want to count them up for fear of the results !!

Thanks Louis - still a have a few more to pick up in the AWI Range of K&C - just need more room - shhhh, dont let Mrs. Phillips hear that ;)

It would be nice if Andy did release an updated American and British Artillery Set for the AWI RANGE :)

Does anybody have access to photos of the earliest K&C British AR releases? I am trying to identify a couple of figures and need a bit of help. Thanks.

MD

I think one of them is BR003, a redcoat officer with a walking stick, and the other is similar except holding a sword in one hand and a spyglass in the other.

MD

Do you mean these ?? :D :D :D

Thanks Jeff, that answered my question...it was BR003 and BR017 by the way.

Oh, yes, thanks Ron, you beat me to the response.

Great display Ron! Makes me want to expand my AWI collection. I only have 16 marching British figures myself. I feel another order coming on. :)

Nice display Ron. I have more Britains then K&C. Here is an artillery set I got from Paul Hermann awhile back. Leadmen

Leadmen - Great Gun !

I love that K&C set - I hope Andy does another Cannon Set for AWI

Great looking stuff guys!! John- I really dig the pictures of the arty piece.

On a side note, a few years back, I interviewed for a position with Harsco- Harrisburg Steel Corporation- that company is so old- they sold cannon balls to the Colonials way back in the day.

I hope to get some pics of my AWI stuff up someday- can't seem to find that perfect strip of turf outside where I can grab some shots of em.

Are these older guys a bit larger than the newer AR guys....similar to Del Prado figure size?

No, if I am reading you correctly, it is the opposite- the older AWI's are smaller than the current stuff. I think those original KC AWI's were the closest thing they had to true 54. I have the AR01 colonial officer and comparing him to the newer one, there is a substantial size difference.

But then again, some of the older Brits are bigger than AR01 so perhaps there was something wacky with him
