K&C box preference... (1 Viewer)

Oh I am deeply hurt my this comment. You just wait and see.I will get you.Arizona is a hot dusty place .I will hunt you down and watch everything you say and get back at you.I will I will.Simmo.

I would love to see the sizes of the boxes standardized so that they could be stored easier

KV mentioned something along these lines at last year's Westcoaster...just something w/ a picture of the figure or set that would help remind us what box went w/ what item, perhaps a small sticker w/ a photo of the item. I'm sure many of us have accumulated a lot of empty K & C boxes, that's for sure. KV's suggestion was met w/ an explanation from Helen about the lack of frugality in adding more steps to the manufacturing process, and would not help keep costs down in a recessed economy. Helen did brainstorm an idea, if I recall correctly, wherein a reference key on the K & C website could be created w/ downloadable images of all all of their sets, so we could essentially make our own identification cards...interesting organizational ideas.

As for the boxes themselves, as long as it protects the contents, I'm happy. I wouldn't want to pay anymore than I already am; it's quite difficult to afford this hobby as it is already, especially w/ all manufacturer's prices creeping up (not a complaint, just a statement of fact). The small single figure boxes do come apart way to easy.

I do remember that being brought up at the Westcoaster last year. I am one of those collectors willing to pay extra for just about anything I like. I even like the tiny card that came with some of the newer WS single pieces (i.e. WS 127), to the point that I would not mind a small increase in price to have those included more often.

Simmo, Simmo, Simmo. Summer is Australia right now so I assume that your brain has been baking in that tank of yours. Come to Arizona with your AFV especially since we have A-10s in Tucson and Harriers in Yuma along with some other fine kites at Luke Air Force Base. Now how about those boxes mate?

Cheers,

Who cares about a "BOX" its whats inside that counts. No way i would pay more for a box, something that sits out of site for those "just in case"scenario,s.

That is why I want those collector cards or similar instead!
