You're a fellow battlefield tourist mate! ^&grin Got to love Pegasus bridge haven't you. Must confess the little bit of rope across the actual bridge wasn't going to stop me being able to say I walked on it.....so got the wife to keep watch and over I went!!^&grin

I'm sorry to say Rob when I went there the original bridge was sitting in a scrap yard and just a plain bridge was in place but look like things have changed for the better

Neil, yes they gave it another coat of paint and put it in the grounds of the excellent museum, just a few hundred yards from the new bridge.

I'm loving all the new british releases at the moment & hope we see a few more in the future. A comet tank would be a nice addition so that gets my vote! The other thing I'd love to see is some brits half surmurged wading in shore from the landingcraft maybe holding there rifles above the heads?
