Cheers Forum Squadron Members:

This is from another thread that was somewhat buried. Does anyone remember the Collectors Card Sets that K&C did way, way back? They were color pictures of various releases that came in an envelope (large postcard size & tan in color)-around the time when whey were producing the wooden warbirds & glossy RAF/Luftwaffe sets. If I recall correctly they sold for $10-$12. I am hoping someone can post some pictures of these as they were fantastic.

Thank You,
Marc

Marc,

I have a couple of sets of the 1990-1991 K&C post card catalogue, and I know someone with an earlier (1987-1988) K&C catalogue made of slightly smaller post-cards. A couple of the cards are reproduced in Volume 3 of the K&C book. If anyone at the symposium willing, they can photograph all 12 cards from one of my catalogues and post them on this thread.

Thanks Louis:

Happy to know they still exist & I look forward to seeing them sometime soon. Thanks for jogging my memory regarding the book.

Hang Tough,
Marc

Great, maybe you can also shoot and post Larry's 87-88 Catalogue as well. Both postcard catalogues are really well done.

surely, you guys will just have to watch my hands to make sure they don't disappear to Maryland.....................

Tom - I doubt that the lighting in NY will be very good, so the pictures would be terrible. If you take them back to your 'studio' at home, they would look a LOT better! ;)

Peter,
excellent idea and suggestion. Louis is usually busy during the event anyhow, so i am sure he will not notice. He usually spends most of the time chasing down misplaced figures in his dioramas. I am really not sure how it happens other than his museum must be haunted, those darn figures get up and walk on their own.....

I should have known...Uncle Bill to the Rescue! Larry Lo also hooked me up. Thank you both.

All My Best,
Marc

I was going to suggest Bill's site. Mike and Myszka at Sierra often refer me to him to find pics of the harder to find K&C stuff.
