I presume you mean in the US? They are already available here in the UK. I expect Pete can give you the low down, as on a previous thread it was mentioned the consignment was held up in customs.

I will pipe up for Shannon and Pete

There was some unaware procedures that myself and TF were not aware of and my couriers had not made me aware of.

Thus the two huge boxs that weresent by me to TF were held in customs.

Shannon with a lot of paper work and faxing has now had them released. They were heading out of NY on Friday.

So guys sorry been delyaed by nearly two weeks and now we know of this procedure things will be a lot smoother next time!!

Sure, that's the deal is it. HUMMMM sounds pretty suspect to me? You sure Harry didn't just raid your shipment in route;), after all he seems to be going stir crazy in that fine bar he's been freqenting at his and Dick Cheneys undisclosed location:D.

You're right about the stir-crazy thing though. Really just want to get this job done, go to Hong Kong via the UK, get the two new Imperial China sets and the new SOHK Chinese Lantern set - then go home.
However, I strongly suspect I'll have to do 4 weeks in Thailand before I escape back to the acid wit and feminine oppression of My Precious Little Lotus Blossom. Still, if that means I miss the Olympics, then that's okay by me. The flag-waving and virulant nationalism would have me back up on my soapbox again.

Well that is an unfortunate product of national support, the press coverage and the "extension of politics by another means" crowd. It also represents great examples of personal achievement, sacrifice and (amazingly) good sportsmanship. I just screen out all the hipe and medal counting and root for the people. Unlike the absurd and annoying commentary, what is important is to compete and do your best, not who wins; but hey, I still believe in chivalry and ethics in government so what do I know.;):rolleyes:
 
Well, every cloud has a silver lining and all that.
If it is September before I get home, then I might be able to pick up the new Collectors Club NWF figures as I transit Hong Kong....Nice One....:)

That would be cool. Say, aren't the Olympics in London in 2012? Man that is going to screw up your long range travel/purchase planning:D:D! I can see you wondering through the masses at Heathrow wondering were the Blo...y H..ll that $%###@ Neville is with your NWF figures:D:). By then you might be better off having them UPSed to that bar in Nigeria:eek:.

Finally! The Crimean have arrived and we have begun dispatching them to their new homes. I was beginning to wonder if they'd ever see the light of day or if they would just take up permanent residence in US customs. :eek:
 
I recieved my Highlanders today [ my first foray into matte crimean figures]
super pieces one and all , they might have to remain the thin red line for
a wee while :rolleyes: ,but I intend to gradually add to them to get thier
numbers up . [ maybe not as many as in the naps shot but a few none the less] unless that elusive lotto win finnaly comes through.
Realy Looking forward to future releases from the thin red line .

me and 4 million other kiwis :) , I guess i,ll have to content myself slowly
chipping away to form a decent line . That and of course picking up
discounted tarpolins when ever I see them [ if only thier was a site advertising such whares;)].
 
I thought I would follow in the footsteps of Rob (Vandilay) and show a photo or two of my "Thin Red Line"........imho some of the best available today.

These will compliment the "Charge" figures I already have very nicely.
