K&C dealers in Annapolis? (1 Viewer)

Are there any near Annapolis, MD?
Well you can check their Dealer's List at their web site
https://www.kingandcountry.com/our_dealers.jsp#United States
but I didn't see any for Maryland. There are three in Virginia and several in Pennsylvania

There is a definite lack of KC dealers in the Baltimore, Annapolis, and Wash. D.C. corridor. There are several dealers in Gettysburg, Pa., which are easy to reach from either D.C. or Baltimore. Annapolis, because of its central location in Md. is further away from Gettysburg than either of the other two. -- lancer

Thanks. I really am surprised they don't have one in the DC-Annapolis-Baltimore area. I could see a toy soldier store doing pretty well in downtown Annapolis.
oh well.

You'd think that to be the case, but as a toy soldier dealer who attends about 25 shows per year, that market is not a very good one I'm afraid. There used to be a toy soldier show in Annapolis, but it has died on the vines. The last one I attended back in May, a grand total of 58 people showed up, so the plug was pulled on the show......................

Warrior- that is a sad but true story. As one who attended the shoes on a regular basis, I saw attendence dropping and feared that the shows would stop. Does not leave much in the D.C. metro area. -- lancer

Lancer, you have the show that moved to Willmington from Valley Forge in the Spring; also, not sure how far it is for you, but there is a good show in Annandale four times a year, next one is December 6th at the Annandale VFD off of the Little River Turnpike.................

I live in Carroll County, MD, and I just go up to Gettysburg for all my stuff. The drive for you would probably be a bit longer though.

I am in Germantown so all I do is hit 270n to 15 into Gettysburg. I can be there in less than an hour. I can get to Annandale in less than that. I just liked going to the Annapolis shows as well. I will keep an eye out for those local shows. Thanks, Warrior. -- lancer

You are one lucky man, less than an hour from the greatest place on earth...............

Warrior- As close to G-burg as I am, my visit last week or so was my first in 2 years. I was astounded by the changes to the battlefield around Little Round Top and Devil's Den. The Park Service has been working hard to return the field to it's 1863 appearance and they have done a tremendous job. The view from atop LRT into DD has changed radically because many of the "new" growth forest has been removed. A whole different view of the terrain is now possible. It is beautiful. And do not get me started on the new visitors center. It is spectacular also. I do count myself luckey to be within easy drives of Sharpsburg, Manassas, Gettysburg, the Monocacy field and even Fredricksburg if I stretch a little. -- lancer
