Guys

I know that talking about anything other than the war based figures is a no no on here.....................but you should see the new Imperial Chinese.

You think the detail is good on the WWII stuff take a look at these well understated items.

The box's are amazing and the detailing on 'Wang Zhao-Jun' IC22 and 'Diao Chan' IC23 ' Xi Shi' IC24 ' Yang Guifei' IC25 well just let me say WOW WOW WOW.

Andy knows what i think but wanted to share it with you guys.

Guys

I popped into K&C UK last week and Tony showed me these figures and as they are very good. Not my bag but amazing painting detail.............i really have to stick to WWII and NAPS!!!! nnnnnnnnnnnnooooooooooooo i am weak.

Also you should see the mini dioramas that Tony has made............... no disrepect to Tony but they are really good. He is looking to take commision. They are big enough for a vehicle and a couple of sets. In the showroom they have the British Sherman (DD65) and a couple fo tommies walking looks awesome. Also a dessert scene with AK26 and AK27 on.
Tony says that he has only a couple of prototypes at the moment but for the Toy Soldier Show London he will have a few more for veiw.

I have placed my order with him. Not sure if he would be happy i posted about them on here but hey.......the kid is to modest!

Andy mentioned to me that the Chinese painters seem to have a better grasp of Chinese subjects, and had told me that he was always very impressed with the aint jobs they did on his Streets of Hong Kong figures. I think this may explain the even higher quality paintjobs on these new Imperial Chinese figures. They are exceptional.

Echo that sentiment. I saw the HK figures for the first time last year at Valley Forge and was blown away. Wish I could collect those. I tried to get my wife interested in them but it wasn't her thing. Too bad:(

My big Streets of Hong Kong diorama is really one of my favorites. I just added the old glossy Park Bench to it the other day. I select choice pieces from the older glossy production to add to it from time to time, but, objectively, the new sculpting and matt painting in the Streets of Hong Series is far superior.

I call the Streets of Old HK and Imperial chinese teh 'If you cannot beat them join them' range......?

Brad your right a lot of our collectors partners collect the above collections.

I love the box's they come in very nice colours and when we display them at shows they look awesome.

We were at the BMSS (British Model Soldier Society) show the other week, which is primarily a paint it yourself show. We had three of the judges (as they have different painting competitions) say how as much as they do not like ready painted that the work on the IC and SOHK ranges were amazing.

Pat on the back to Andy and his team from the paint your own brigade!!!!

Jake (Monty) and thanks for letting the cat out of the bag about my Dioramas!! give me the cash and you can have one in a weeks time!!!

Tony
