K&C FJ03 A-D Question. (1 Viewer)

This is hopefully a simple & quick question. I have a K&C FJ03 set that is not marked at all on the bottom of the figures. Was this typical at all? I was comparing it to the FJ05 set which is marked. Thanks in advance for your help & time!

I looked at my FJ sets. FJ02 and FJ03 are not marked on the bases.
But my FJ04 and FJ05 have Fallschirmjager written on the bases.

Mine is not marked either. Maybe the factory making them forgot to do so.

As far as I can remember the FJ series was released in 2 stages, which would seem laughable nowadays for such a short series, but it is possible that this delay contributed towards the FJ04 and FJ05 sets receiving the later practice of base branding/set designation beyond the many alternative schemes used in the years after departing from the old "K&C" initials base inscription system. Maybe the earlier FJ sets were in that interim period?

That's interesting. So when did the base branding begin?

Do, for instance, the Arnhem figures not have writing on the base?

On Arnhem, the first series does but the second series doesn't.
