I was just looking at the French site when I wanted to order a set. I caalled the number, mailed the site, but no reaction.Does that store still exist? Maybe some of the collectors can help me out.

Greetings,

Ian

What are you looking for specifically. One of our members, Pierre, posted a set of instructions several years ago for ordering the Jeanne D'Arc set and I can see if I can dredge them up if you wish.

I was interested in the retired LAH 06 set to add to my collection, but as I said, there was no reaction..

Ian,

Look at this thread. I think it should be adaptable to the item you're looking for.

Ian,

I visited the shop at 12 rue Amelot 75011 Paris last year when I was travelling in Europe, and they were open.

If you check it out on Google Street View, you can see some Gendarmes taking a coffee break right outside the shop ! Their white van is blocking off part of the shop window.

There are a couple more shops in paris seling Toy Soldiers and one up near the Arc De Triumphe, Solda'Telis, also sells K&C.

regards,

John

Most of the retail stores in France are closed on Mondays (including this one per their Web site) which maybe why you didn't get any answer today. You should wait a couple days for an answer to your e-mail. I stopped by that store in December last year while in Paris, unfortunately on a Monday, hence they were closed (sigh).

Hi Ian ,
I am french and I know the owner of the toysoldiers shop . He is in activity . But it is true that it is not open on mondays;
with google , I write" toysoldiers paris" and I find their website , they generally open between 14 and 19 ( 2 and 7 PM) that is for you between 8 and 13 o'clock.
I always buy with the mail and sometimes I go in Paris ,the shop is near the Bastille colum.It is a small space but there iare plenty of small soldiers, much to please the eyes
with;
best regards Thierry

Thanks for the info guys. I have pulled some strings, hope it will do to buy the set.

Greetings,

Ian
