Just wanted to say a big thanks as always to everyone at K&C UK and Andy himself for making the London show very enjoyable today. At K&C UK's 'square ' of tables it's always show 'HQ' for me and Mike,Sue, Katerine,Tony and Dave always make people feel welcome there even if they are not buying but just dropping by for a chat. A nicer bunch of people you could not wish to meet. Also Andy's presence at the show is always a pleasure as it's good to chat with him about the company, it's products etc etc. I have a feeling 2015 is going to be another cracker......especially for WW1!:wink2::salute:: Thanks again Andy:smile2:

Can I also say how great it was (having missed a couple of shows) catching up with my fellow collectors; Bob, Simon , Jeff, Andy, Glyn, Richard,Harrie, Steve, Clive, and it was a joy after talking to him for about ten years on here to finally meet Dave as in Celtic Dave. (real pleasure mate)

All the people above have become friends over the years and you guys help make this hobby real fun, so thank you.

I must apologize with great sincerity for not taking any pics this time, there was a reason for this which I won't go in to but I'll put that right at the next one in March.

So to every one of you I talked today and all my friends here on the forum from many different countries I wish you a very very Merry Christmas.:smile2:

I STILLlove this hobby after all these years! :salute::

Good to see you again too Rob, sorry it couldn't have been for longer.
BTW, you owe the Steam Passage Tavern £183.45. Many thanks for agreeing to pick up the tab.:wink2:

No wonder he couldn't take any photos. With that bill unpaid, he's one staying one foot away from debtor's prison.

Wasn't that how Australia got settled?

Paul

I have friends in Australia so I'm not touching that one!

Having missed a couple of previous shows because of work I must say it was so good to be back there yesterday and am already looking forward to the next one in March, where I shall join my cohorts in the pub for fish and chips!:salute::

Paul mate,
Are'nt you the cheekly young Pup.^&grin^&grin Australia has a proud convict heritage and look at our nation today 200 plus years on. The best place in the world to live.:smile2:
Cheers Howard

PS Rob mate, If they do send you out here by convict ship, I will certainly visit you once a week in the local prison with a new K&C brochure.:eek:

Lads,

Human Resources Command sent out the assignment preferences list for this summer. 89 assignments to rank order 1 to N...it's in my wife's hands to pick our next temporary home. But with an assignment in the UK and numerous ones in Germany (which she will rank highly), the likelihood that I'll be joining you for next year's London show is very high. Looking forward to it and meeting you lot. Newcastle's are on me if it happens!

That would be **** decent of you my friend!:salute:: Make it one of those relaxed, open air prisons so I can catch some of those Australian rays instead of this damp old Blighty weather:wink2:

Paul it will be a pleasure to see you there mate. You'll be made very welcome and Simon and Jeff always by everyone at the show a drink and also pay all entrance fees so you won't have to lay out a penny!:wink2:

The social aspect of the 3 London shows has become a big part of this hobby over the years. Meeting up with friends , other collectors and dealers is what it's all about . Looking at all these figs online is all very good but it doesn't compare to seeing them in the flesh and discussing them with the folk who create, sell them and buy them. Sharing this hobby with friends of like mind makes it even better. Can't wait for the next one in March!

Hope to see you in London in 2015 Paul!
Best

Did K&C preview anything new at the show ? ... I see only a new Royalist flag bearer from the English Civil War. Some mention of new Bulge figs .. are there any pics to share ?

Bests wishes

Wait---you guys do three shows a year in London??!!?? I've done the King's X show in San Antonio and Chicago this year, and will get another crack at San Antonio before leaving Central Louisiana.

Hey OD, Andy brought with him some new ECW figs and a cannon which all looked excellent, I think Jeff/Simon/Andy probably got pics of them in the show threads, I think Bulge figures are announced next month, I could be wrong on that though.

Paul, yes there are three shows a year in London, March, June, December, with December normally the busiest.
