I will thanks. I think K&C might be just the first to raise prices while Britians and Collectors Showcase have not: will they be next to?
It always seems to me that the price per figure is related to detail in sculpting and painting.
Yeah but in my opinion the sculpts in the Arnhem series aren't as good as previous K&C efforts
I saw the Arnhem releases in person at the Chicago Show, and held the figures and vehicles in my hands. I also saw the prototypes for the Anti-Tank Gun and Piat sets for the second release. Frankly guys, they were some of the best figures I've ever seen. The figures were often sculpted in poses strikingly similar to figures from the original Arnhem release (which over the years many collectors, myself included, had often told Andy we wished had been done in todays level of sculpting) re-done in todays level of sculpting. I would respectfully suggest that you wait to see the figures in person before you make a final judgment about them.
If the Paras come out with more detail than so be it. Ya get what ya pay for!
If less detailed future rleases such as AmRev or AmCivil war figs go up in price.
Then it maybe raw material cost or wage increases. Or the "price of tea in China."
(or ale at the pub?)
As long as they don't jump up considerably I for one, on a working stiffs budget, should be able to handle it.(not like the price of fuel anyway!!)
O.C.
OC,
I do my best to increase the production from previously non financially viable oil wells. If you guys on the forum would pass the hat around so's I can afford my future K&C purchases, then I'll redouble my efforts to put more oil on the market and force the price down.
Cheers
