Cheers Forum Squadron Members,

I came across this beautiful aviation lithograph and thought it would inspire and help a lot of you with some diorama/display ideas for your RAF sets. The art work really looks like one of Andy's pencil sketches with added color. Just add a Build-A-Rama grass matt, the Frontline hut or K&C Nissen hut and you are ready to go. Enjoy.

Fantastic picture, it's as if it was made as a blueprint for K&C collectors, what with the chess set and sports car. Great find!

Louis,
The canteen van is made by "Accurate Armour" scale 1/35 it is a Fordson E83w Mobile Canteen( quite an expensive piece of kit)

CJB Models made one of those, complete with two ladies giving out the donuts and coffee. It came up on ebay a couple of years ago, I bid up to $400, and wasn't even close. Is the Accurate Armor version that expensive?

Great pic, does look like the inspiration for current the K&C RAF series. Is that a firetruck I see in the distant background? I believe its only a matter of time before we see one for this series..........and I can hardly wait!

Terrific diorama Guy. Thanks for sharing. That coffee/tea/snack truck is a great piece. Looks a lot cooler than the vendor trucks of today! ;)

Louis,
Accurate Armour is a kit in 1/35 scale ( you have to assemble it yourself and paint it) and I paid two years ago € 99, Today if you go to the AA website I think they sell it at £ 60.

Thanks for the info, Guy, but I lack the skill to assemble and paint it, so I guess I'll have to hope one of the CJB Models versions pops up again.:redface2:
