I would like K&C or someone to publish a ref. book that would cover their entire production from start to date, with all the verious paintings number items issued.

This would the most helpful for them and all collectors. I would like to see this in the very near future.

Chuck,

Good to see you here. I think Louis can better address this but I think Andy is planning something in that regard.

Andy has been planning such a book, intended to be published last year (the 20th Anniversary) under the title "King & Country, 20 Years Hard Labor". Andy had indicated he would distribute the first chapter of the book to the attendees of the New York Symposium. However, at the Symposium, Andy indicated that he was dissatisfied with the first Chapter, and intended to re-write it, so we never saw it. Because Andy is himself writing the book, I had shelved plans with fellow collectors Lawrence Lo and Hans Hedrich to write one ourselves. If you check the other forum threads, I think maybe the one about the symposium, however, you will see that I drafted lists of all WWII sets and all pre-1996 non-WWII areas of production, which should give you at least a starting point. Many of the early flyers can be viewed on the Sager's Toy Soldiers website (albeit misdated and in the wrong order), so you can view much of the early production. If you need more information, contact me, and I will be happy to provide it.

I am new to the forum and this is a great idea. I hope Andy can get the book out before the end of the year. I have been a closet collector of K&C's WWII sets since the mid 90's.

I checked, I put the lists of what King & Country produced on the "Thanks Treefrog" thread.
