I have the following long retired K&C ACW set for sale. All are mint in the box sets that I bought back in 2000. I am really unsure of the value of these sets so any pricing help would be appreciated. I would idealy like to sell them all to one collector, so make an offer if you are serious about it. Shipping, of course, would be extra. Contact NEVINSRIP@AOL.COM if interested.

I,m not sure what the going rate for these are these days but being retired K&C I,m sure you should be able to get back what you paid for them if they are in good shape, but it could go a lot higher also as these are retired and might fetch a bit more, so I wouldn,t settle for less then what you paid for them.
Some retired figures have doubled in price over time so don,t be in a rush to sell until your sure of an idea of the current selling value of what you,ve got.

Tim,

good advice, however I would point out on this series, some of the items do not even bring retail on ebay, this is the first Civil War series. Also, 4 of the sets are still available at Treefrog!

That being said, the Lee figure and Jackson figure should bring a good price.

I don't follow these pricewise but I have sold a few and they don't do that well. I thing the best selling ones are ACW 01 and ACW 02, the flag bearers.

Actually the Confederate Flag bearer is the most expensive along with Lee and Jackson (at least from my own buying!!!).

cmon Brad, you know the Rebels always sell best!!

I'll defer to you Tom since collecting wise the Civil War doesn't appeal to me but I guess you must be from south the of the Mason Dixon line:D

Ya,
I really only colllect the Rebs, but as a completist, I have added most of the blue sets (K&C original collection). do like any of the iron brigade units too from various manufacturers. That being said, the displays are certainly one sided victories for the "lost cause"!

Tom

Tsk, tsk but you're still okay:) However, I do find it funny/odd, etc. that people are more interested in the losers of wars than the winners.

Speaking for me, I don't find the Confederates terribly interesting. If I were to collect, I'd be more interested in the Union but hey, that's just me. Whatever makes you happy.....
