Hi Guys,

It's 0923 in Los Gatos California at our hotel just getting ready to head off to Sierra for our meet 'n' greet with the folks at Sierra and their collectors.

Yesterday (Friday) we arrived at San Francisco and Mike (Sierra) Hall was there to meet us and drive us up to Los Gatos. After settling in our hotel we walked a couple of blocks down to the new store...it is AWESOME! One of the finest and biggest toy soldier stores in the world. The selection is impressive and I am happy to say K&C is featured prominently both on the shelves and in major dioramas located throughout the store. If you have not visited this superb venue then it is a must see for any toy soldier enthusiast. The store itself is located in the heart of Los Gatos on the main drag and I am sure it will pull in many people who have never heard or seen a toy soldier in their lives. As you can imagine this has been a major investment for the folks at Sierra. However I have no doubt, after having seen the site and the effort they have put into it, in predicting it will be a great success.

We will be here for another two days before flying to Chicago on Monday. Gordon will fly in on Tuesday, actually he should have been with us here in California. However his last diorama was not complete and he needed an extra few days to finish it. We have made a large wooden box for the diorama and Gordon to travel in...I know it is a little uncomfortable for him but we are putting in some extra holes in the box for ventilation and so the air stewardess can feed him drinks through a straw and squeeze sandwiches into him.

Never let it be said that I do not take care of my little brother. When it comes to Gordon nothing is too good for him.

On that cheerful note I will say adios amigos and hiyo Silver and away!

Andy C.

P.S. For everyone coming to Chicago our room number is 4301. We hope to have all our displays on show by Wednesday.

Good Show Andy! I'm so glad you take such good care o'Gordon.
I'ts jolly site better than my trips in the back of Bob Fishers' or Bubba's van or the cargo hold of a Trailways Bus!!!
Looking forward to buying you a tall and Gorditto a tall cold one.
Cheerio O.C.:D
