Guys

Feedback in Chicago has been great!

They look real cool in person and the slashed guy is really catching peoples attention

Tony

He does look really good,i also like the bloke with the Lance in him!

Rob

The lanced guys face is i consider the best face that K&C have ever done. He is so real. I would even put my neck out and say he is of a St Pete standard.......... also a comment fom more than one of the customers here in Chicago.

Well down stairs now for some quick breakfast and then we head to the trading rooms!

I Ordered A Few Peices Already. So Much Stuff Is Coming Out At Once. I Have To Put My Self On A Budget Or Work Overtime At The Zoo.

Guys

Its in the UK and Dispatch Dave is working his little nuts off to get them out to you all that have already ordered. Those that have ordered from TF they should have theirs in next few days as well as they are boxed and getting picked up today.

They look really good i made a scene with a good number of them and they look awesome.

Tony

Why are the Crimean sets so much more expensive than other figures on horses.....Is there much more detail??......also why is it exclusive......I am not very interested in this period of history......however I am considering them.......... but can help but be put off a bit by the cost.......Respectfully Vezzolf

Hi Vezzolf

Your two questions are pretty much answered in one answer.

They are Exclusive to K&C UK because we are paying for the entire range to be designed and developed. We pay for the design and manufacture of the Boxes.

I work with Andy in Hong Kong on the concept and from this he creates the figures for us.

The cost you can then see is wrapped up in the fact that K&C charge us for developing the range (a normal cost absorbed by K&C on their own ranges). We also have to bring it into the UK which has tax implications whereas the other figures do not have such high tax demands, going into other countries.
The cost of VAT is only charged within the EU, however.

And of course when we buy from K&C the Crimean range there will be their profit factored into our buying price.

Vezzolf,

If you get these, you will not be disappointed, trust me. These are some of the best sculpted, painted and best looking figures you will ever have. I bought the entire first range in Chicago and was slated to buy the second. Unfortunately, my other spending habits got in the way. Take a look at the forthcoming second series. It's spectacular, especially the dead Russian in the agony of death.

Verzzolf (or anyone who's thinking about getting these), take a look at this thread for a nice setup by Panzer. Also, if you look at Harry's threads, Close Encounters, you'll find some very nice photos.

I was under the impression that KC/UK and K/C were one company......Are they independently owned? Thank you
