Tony!

Realy great pics you have posted. It looks like realy fantastic! And your work with the dios are just amazing!

A simple question! Is the showroom/lounge located in Spennymoor, Durham County or in London?

If it´s on London, please tell me of the address!

BTW! Looking forward to the March Show! Mrs. Templar will be joining too! :)

Templer

No the showroom is not in London.. Spennymoor Durham 1hr flight away! or a DFS ferry from Holland! and we are 30mins from Newcastle terminal!

Look forward to seeingyou in London.........make sure you stop by and say hi.

The napoleonic flats were done by K&C for the Nuremberg toy show many years ago along with the brown bess and cutless. Mike (Dad) took them off him after the event.

Candian Samuari the Medal of Hounor Airbourne i play is the latest one for the PS3 and XBOX it is if you play online with the PS3 called Nautailus.

Can we see more pictures with snow?

We have PLENTY of pictures with snow...

Out the back door of our house...

Out the front...

Trust me, I'd rather see TOY SOLDIERS on FAKE SNOW. I'm weary of looking at the real deal...

Pete, is that a JG Miniatures building in the last shot?
Looks very realistic.

I agree about the real deal being tiresome at this point...this is what 75 inches of snow looks like. By the way Pete I can see by the tracks and the poop that you have little bunny friends in your yard too...prabably nibbling on your shrubbery?

Guys!

I'm the first international visitor to have been to the K&C UK showroom!! Sorry if I'm boasting but can't help myself :D I've just touched down back in Oz after 2 weeks in France and the UK and I've gotta tell you that one of the highlights by far was visiting this showroom of the Nevilles 2 days after its opening. You guys have got to see it in the flesh, it is just AWESOME!! Photos don't do it justice and the displays are amazing - almost too much to take in at one visit.

I have to thank Mike and Dispatch Dave a heap for making me feel welcome as I'm sure they had better things to do than spend 3 hours with me on a Tuesday afternoon :). They looked after me a treat. Tony had wussed out of my offer of a few beers and was a little tired and emo after the weekend - really sorry I miissed meeting you Tones but next time I should try offering Mars Bars :D

Anyway, I didn't know where to look. That Omaha Beach stairway looks very real when you are there because of its sheer size - you feel like you are in the boat with those boys waiting for the door to drop down on the beach. Tony has done a fantastic job melting the stairs in with the rest of it to give a 3D effect.

And Ron those Napoleonic flats on the walls are very cool. Mike tried to give them to me but I told him they really belonged there, not in my study.

But the best of all is that I got to see the most Holy Grail of all K&C Napoleonics: the dealers special edition Hussar!! Never thought I would get to see it given no-one had been able to come up with a photo of it to date. But there it is and what a beauty it is!!!!!! Again I had to humbly turn down Mikes very kind offer and insist that it remains in the showroom..ah well..

Mike and Dispatch Dave - many many thanks again, you guys are real troopers and I had a fantastic afternoon chatting with you guys. I got my purchases back safe and sound also, thanks again for showing me around. Hope to do it again some time.

Sorry to go on a bit long here all but visiting the Nevilles showroom is a must!

Cheers :)

I am so jealous !!

I must get a trip out there to see the new mecca of our faith ! :D

Must see those goodies up close - I think Mike and Tony should allow the Napoleonics to travel around to attract business - I would recommend the first stop being Washington, DC ;)

Did you take pictures??

Must go to England ! Must go to England !!

No, sorry Ron, no pictures. As I said, any photos I'd have taken wouldn't do the place justice and I still use roll film so couldn't have posted them here anyway. You need to visit for yourself when you can get there.

Sorry i missed you...................would have been cheaper to have stayed at work as my wiofe was off as well!!!

Glad you liked the Showroom.

You will find some quirky, peices in the showroom. One off figures etc etc

Tony

No worries Tony, sorry I didn't get to buy you a few beers. I drank enough pints of bitter in Leamington Spa that night to make up for it though :)

Next time mate.

Got a chance to pop into the KCUK showroom and wow...well worth a visit...Mike very kindly spent a lot of time showing us around the museum and the lounge...it was a great oppertunity to see up close retired pieces both recent and extremely rare. My own favourties were the winter and summer 88mm Flak Gun gun emplacement...the alamo strongpoint diorama piece and a one off version given to mike by andy of the recently retired russian t34 in a more dirty gritter green like the old K&C russian tanks... the figarti bridge really brings the arnhem series alive and is itself an amazing piece..Tony did a great job on the many diorama's as you can see elesewhere on this thread, my own favorties were of course all the WWII ones:D but the world war 1 diorama I thought was a standout as well. Mike had among other pieces of hardware a russian maxim gun in pristine condition...another highlight
I could go on and on but if you get a half a chance pop in..thanks again Mike for a very enjoyable afternoon:)

Been there, done that, seen it all, and would still go back every chance I get!:D

Trying to get down ina couple of weeks!!!!!!!!!!:D

It's amazing!:D

Take your own advice and go Ron! You won't be disappointed. The Neville's are terrific and you can even swipe a few dio ideas from all the great displays! Tony will just have to check your bags before you leave, make sure you don't "borrow" a few of his rarer pieces!:D
