Well after going back through the London Show posts I found only one or two KC posts. I could be wrong and please post the others if I am. Here is one of the only two I could find. One of the new Fokkers on a surprising base. I see the K & C UK label from Neville and Son.

Am I right in thinking this is pretty much a Britain's show? That is about all I could see.

As far as K & C UK, I have not seen any posts by the Neville's in a long time. How are they doing in the market? Is there still a brick and mortar store and to what extent?

It could be the K&C models were under cover with a bunch of D-Day/Normandy Americans to come in Dispatches on Tuesday?

Well, OK, I will give some credence to your seemingly smart remark....Maybe you are right Phantom there might be all kinds of Americans. I doubt it but one can only hope. There are others like TG making them so I really hope perhaps there will be some other lines I collect to tell you the truth.

What is the Phantom all about anyway....are you like a ghost or a wraith or a poltergeist or something from a scary movie?{eek3}

K & C UK is a rather a big company, not just a dealer, but a distributor. Although Tony hasn't posted for awhile I wouldn't take that to be indicative that they are not doing well.

That would be too bad indeed. Always have respected them. Also was hoping for more Crimean War and I think without them that could be over......:(

With no jokes....I wish the Neville's the best.

Was not able to go to the London show but I was up at the K&C annual open day in May and, fear not, the operation is very much alive and kicking! The Crimean series came to an end and I think covered the campaign very well. I too would like see more Crimean releases but this is very unlikely......

Happy to divert my attention to the RAF and WW1 series!

Again, One of my favorite....and I have thousands of toy soldiers......is the KC Crimean War series.

I hope for one or two more charging poses that can be made to really develop the charge of the 600.

Ludwig. Perhaps they could be Strictly Limited like back in the grand day of the Napoleonic Line.

Again, Ludwig.

What a strange thread!!!! K&CUK are the toy soldier business IMO and, have done more than any to promote this hobby and, develop K&C and Matt toy soldiers into what it is in England,Europe and further afield.

I thought the title was London toy soldier show not the show for K&C????? a quiet day for thread ideas!!!!!!

I can see why the question has been asked. K&C are not nearly as prominent at the show as they once were and the images from the June show do mainly centre around the likes of WB and Figarti.

From a personal perspective the Australian Lighthorse series is my favourite of any range both past and present and my K&C figures are "keepers" but for pure investment purposes nothing is coming close to WB. Having hold of the early Zulu pieces as I do is better than investing in bonds and savings!

Have to say K&C UK are just as prominent at the show as they've ever been, they have more display space than anyone else there by a country mile. I think what happens is that because they have the same displays at each show there is no point taking the same pics over and over really, so pics tend to concentrate on new stuff. I did not post so many of their pics for the above reason, but will correct that at the next one.

I think a lot has to do with perception. A lot of people see shows as a place where the main manufacturers (of mat figures etc) showcase brand new releases and, its something which K&C seem not to use the english shows for. Figarti often do as other manufacturers do also.

I looked at all the pics and there was a lot of K&C pictures but, in terms of K&CUK I would imagine they are enjoying just attending the show as a dealer and not having the hastle and worry about running it.

Mitch you are quite right, new items are rarely unveiled in London. I honestly thought folks might be bored of my same pics each time, next time I will take pics of everything.

Rob...

I said at the start it was a strange thread and it still is. Its a toy soldier show not a K&C UK or Hong Kong show
