I have a number of the older K&C "Normandy" paratroopers. I know that each run of K&C is slightly different and that new figures tend to have better detail than some of the older ones. The question is, how do the new guys look with the previous ones? I might want to get just 2 or 3 to mix in with my existing scene, but don't want them to stand out too badly. What are the opinions of some who have purchased both?

The detail in the new paras is brilliant and better than previous paras but that's my opinion. However it's not such a massive difference that they will stand out like a sore thumb. I would recommend anyone buying the new paras!

IMO, they are little bit different as compared to the "Normandy" Paratroopers. I was looking at DD36 - Covering Fire (4 101st Airborne Troopers) and set it next to the new Paratroopers. The Old one has a light colored appearance in the uniforms as compared to the new one which is "deep tone" particularly on the knee area. This might be due to the aperture settings on the camera again IMO. You are absolutely right on of getting one or two maybe just to see how they blend in with "Old" that's what I did with the new OMG Pathpinders. I try to be more watchful on what I'm buying. :)
