Does anyone think this will become a reality in the near future....

Don't have a clue, but I hope so. I really want a Winter Tiger, Panther, or Panzer IV for a diorama I am setting up. Please....

I think this is a call for another one which might be obtainable without selling kidneys to raise the funds.;)

Yeah, I thought it might be that but wasn't sure. I guess a collector can never have too many Tigers in any scale.

Carlos, please do not raise the standard for more Tigers. :(

There are way too many other unreleased vehicles and figure sets that should come first, like a Tiger I (Porsche version); or, the early Tiger I (without track guards or Feifel air cleaners); or, OH...yeah those are Tiger's aren't they. Oh well, bring 'em on.:cool:

I'd love to have gotten the one Alexander did when he converted the recent AK Tiger into a winter version-masterful job.

I'd much rather have a dull, boring, routine, run of the mill winter Panzer IV for a future release.

LOL, good one Michael, sometimes we just can't help ourselves can we?

I certainly hope that K & C do a Winter Tiger in true 1/30 scale as the earlier WS70 Tiger was to small as you can see from the pic Carlos posted below. I had intended to get the Collectors Showcase version but it just looks weird

I'll bet you have a few of these sitting in your closet....but for those of us who do not have one; I think most of us would like to purchase a true 1:30 scale winter tiger without having to re-mortage the house.;)

Collector's Showcase makes a very nice 1/30 winter Tiger that won't cost a car payment. -- lancer

I have heard that the Zimmermit...(excuse spelling).... on this tank is over-done making it appear like sugar frosting on a cake.....What is your opinion of this?.....do you find this critique to be valid...... Thank you Vezzolf

Hmm, didn't look that way to me. I've got one and like it. I might apply more whitewash down the road, but otherwise it's a great vehicle.

I own the CS Wittman version, not the winter version. I have seen the winter version and in my opinion the Zimmerit is NOT overdone. Publicity photos, for some reason, make the Zimmerit appear more prominent than it actually is. The CS Tigers are well done, not perfect, but well worth their price level and they are a good 1/30. JMHO. -- lancer

Thanks Lancer....best regards Vezzolf

I think the Zimmerit is overdone but not to the extent that it spoils the model. Imo the major problems with the CS Tiger are the incorrect angle of the track guards and the turret looks to be raised up to high. It just looks weird to me.

And of course as we already know the major issue with the K & C Winter Tiger is that its way overpriced and also to small, being 1/32 scale, but it does come with a nice set of figures.

I agree, I'm not a big fan of the CS Tiger. My Tunisian Tiger is my favorite piece, and am willing to wait for future KC Tigers.

Eat your heart out or talk to Alex:D:D:D
