I have to share this with you.

Yesterday my grand children surprised me with a little display when I got back in. They had gone to a bookstore and found this old west pop up book. I have never seen one like it. You open the pages and pull the little tabs and it sets up all of these buildings etc. Quite ingenious and detailed. They then put it up on the entertainment center and placed the KINGS X western/ cavalry figures in the display!!

.......it was very touching!! ...I guess a little off the old block is catching on!!

This is what the hobby is really all about....Right?

They did great work Ludwig! I have never seen a pop up book with such detail before. I only hope that one day my kids will do the same for me. Here's to the apple not falling far from the tree. Keith

Awesome displays! The book is so cool!! The figures really come to life with the pop up book! Your so right Ludwig, the children are what this hobby is all about. The future of this hobby depends on our children appreciating these great works of art. I have the privledge of being able to introduce children to toy soldiers in the shop at Kings X and thanks for the post!

Thank you for your support. I was really touched by what the young ones did with this little display. I went out and bought two more of these. Martin the next time I come to KINGS X, I will leave one for you.

What a GREAT display scene that pop-up book made!

It is a perfect way to show off those great KX collector's club figures.
