Looks awfully like a Long-Barreled Winter Stug to me Rob, yum yum :).
OMG, I can hardly wait for 20th/21st of October to come around. Actually, come to think of it, I get paid around 25th October - So I might just volunteer to return to Germany for a quick commissioning job that's coming up last week in October, and then I'll be able to pop up in Hong Kong with an entire months-worth of loot in my hip pocket - the majority of it to be spent in a certain shop - now that I know where it's located........:D:D:eek::D:

Well, the desert Stug is a must-have Rob. And a long-barreled winter stug would also be a must-have as well. The grey one? I'm kinda going off that one cos I simply don't need the dead French guy.
Och, stop kiddin' yourself Heid.....I also will have 3 Stugs in my collection. :)

BTW, it's Joan Armatrading's Greatest Hits that blasting out on the laptop today - brilliant stuff....!!!! :):)

Yes i don't really need the dead guy either, but i got to have all these Stugs. Its a workhorse of the German army isn't it,both in its infantry support role and its anti tank role. Can't have too many Stugs!:D

Tamiya's Stug III was the very first model AFV I ever made, more years ago than I care to think about. So I've a big soft spot for that vehicle (between my eyes probably).
:):):)

There is a great episode of 'Tanks' on dvd that has a large part of it about Stugs, some great film and facts about them.If ever you get chance to check out the series Harry its highly recommended.

Yeah Rob, I've noticed you posting about the "tanks" series in other threads. Sounds really interesting. Maybe I'll get the chance to pick up those DVD's next year. We'll see.

BTW, its back to Hot Chocolate again......just love Erroll Brown's music. It'll be back to Joan Armatrading soon though.....:):)
