Hi Guy's
Happy New Year from Hong Kong to those of you who I have not had an email with so far this year.
I caught up with Andy this week and we had a chat about 2007; looked forward to 2008 and had a conversation about the hobby.
To see all three films have a look at KCUK TV!
Looking forward to a great 2008!
Warm regards to all!

Now don't say a word Bob,just send me a pm with all the WW2 details and we will say no more about it.On a totally unrelated subject i've just emailed the Queen to demand that you and Andy both be knighted in the new years honours list for 'service to my collecting'.She says ok if i stop emailing her:eek::eek::D!

Bob - When I looked in the side mirror of those videos I saw some goofy looking bald guy...was he sneaking up behind you while you filmed??;)

Wellington................Boy and i glad Andy popped on this one himself!!

These are the russians i saw being painted in October 07. They are amazing and i have to say the best sculpt and paint so far and there are a lot of them!!

They are all very smart! But me thinks something will have to go! i have to assume something will go on the old NAPS.........all about space! And just incase you ask i dont know!!

Tony

Tony, not pushing for info (no i'm really not:))but we can expect new D Day stuff from April onwards?.

Rob

As a general rule, K & C put out D Day in the May and June timeframe.

There is a regularity in when they put out their releases. For example, AK in February, Eighth Army in March, D Day May and June, FoB July, BoB late year and so forth.

Yes thats right of course Brad.(must say i enjoy it that way to).I was just wondering what we may get in April, why i don't know, still figuring out what to buy and how to pay for it this month!.;).But i guess thats what really grabs you (me certainly)about K&C,i always want to know whats coming next!.

Bob,
Just a super set of films!, actually I think it's the best you've done. With that great shop as a backdrop, it really enriches the visuals.
I also love to hear about the inner workings, or the business side of my favorite hobby.
Thanks again and congratulations on your continued strength and growth in production values and interesting content.
Ray

Suggestion: How about showing the various shops, HK, San Antonio, U.K. etc. in video? maybe even other dealers as your travels allow? ;)

What I thought was interesting about the films is how K & C is now planning 11 to 12 months ahead. What this means for collectors is that when you plan that far ahead, you can't rearrange production schedules unless you have idle production capacity. Idle production capacity is probably not the case with K & C because K & C does not actually own any factories and must book space in the factories it uses.

In other words, when you ask if such and such can be made, even if Andy thinks it's a good idea and says let's make it, because of the various product that needs to get made in that current year, you may not see that particular idea be available for purchase until one year down the road.

And a great example of this was the Arnhem range.Announced in December 06 it was almost excactly a year later they were with us.We can only imagine whats down the road in 11 or 12 months from now.(except for higher credit card bills of course;))

It would be interresting if the Russians were in winter attire......:) Tony any idea when they will be released?
