Really sad about this. F-Troop was my favourite TV series back in the 60's as was Ken Berry. I have all 65 esposides and know them off by heart. Robin.

It wasn't a particularly great show but Berry always came across as a nice fellow on Mayberry RFD. One of those memorable faces from TV's bygone days that you sometimes can't quite remember all the various roles he played. TV and films are unique in the way that they give a certain immortality to people in a way that almost no other profession does. Once you are dead, you are usually forgotten but someone will be watching even the silliest TV shows and movies until the end of time. And Ken Berry, Bob Denver, David Cassidy will be faces they recognize after more important people of the times are long forgotten. Whether for good or ill.
