A two hour Program based on Bill O'Reilly best seller [millions of copies] airs the 17th of February
on the National Geographic Channel.
"..... From Executive Producers Ridley Scott and Tony Scott, and narrated by Tom Hanks, National Geographic Channel's first original docudrama, Killing Lincoln, based on the New York Times bestseller, combines re-creations with historical insight in a thrilling chronicle of the final days of President Lincoln and his assassin, John Wilkes Booth. Link below. Several clips and other background. Set your DVR.

Looks good. Hopefully they also do one with his JFK book.

I will probably watch but a word of caution: the book is not good scholarship and although Ridley Scott has a good name, I believe he did Gettysburg a couple of years ago and it wasn't very good.

I thought his was a fairly decent show. A bit different with Tom Hanks narrating, but it seemed to work. By coincidence I was walking by Ford's Theatre today and there was a big line to get in.

I was a little surprized that Lincoln didn't know what Lee even looked liked until his son came home with his picture.

It premiers in the UK on the National Geographic channel tonight at 2000hrs, I shall be watching :)

Cheers

Martyn:)
