After a week of no news just found out that Kilted Vampire is out of ICU!!!!
I was able to exchange a few words with KV this afternoon. He phoned briefly, but had to “run” as a doctor came into his room. He is feeling "weaker than kittens", and very tired.
Mike’s friends and family have been passing on the good wishes of everyone on the forum, but unfortunately he isn’t able see them for himself as he isn't able to use a laptop at present. So he will have a lot of catching up to do.
He has to undergo another surgery on Thursday morning, and asked that we all keep him in our thoughts. Unlike the other surgeries he is aware of this one, and so is very concerned.
It was great to talk to him albeit briefly, and we hope to visit him after the next surgery. Hopefully he will be able to leave the hospital sometime next week. The recovery process will undoubtedly take quite a while, but progress is being made.
KV asked me to thank everyone for their good wishes. I'm sure he will be back on the forum just as soon as he can be.
