Greetings all, Sapper started off with some competition pictures from last nights K&C Annual Brisbane dinner and allow me to continue with a short report and many more pictures.
As per usual Brett and Gerelou of The Military Workshop hosted the dinner with their gracious and friendly style and of course Andy as per normal was his down to earth and genial self.
The evening was and always is a great time spent with like minded collectors and diorama makers, it is wonderful to network, exchange ideas and generally have fun.
Andy brought along some new and up coming products and to tell us about where he is heading and to hear suggestions and ideas from Brisbane collectors. He explained how the Vietnam Aussie series has taken off and what is in the pipeline for that series with lots more to come eg. two more sets of Aussie infantry, USA M113, Helicopter and more that I forgot ( not my area of collecting :rolleyes:) also that the ALH is to be continued with a mounted officer, ambulance and Furphy wagons. I will let the following pictures tell the story of the new items he brought down under.

Will continue this thread with comp pictures....

Magic photo's thus far Wayne mate, keep'em coming.......

Appreciate the review notes too!:salute::

Well done Wayne, nicely photographed. Regards Greg.

Now the comp pictures.
The standard this year was a step up from last year and I am particularly chuffed has I was part of the group that canvassed the idea with Brett a few years ago and it has become a major part of each years dinner. I would like also to make special mention of Matts young fella Paul, still in his teens, who has taken to making dioramas like a fish to water. It is great to have youth interested in our hobby and he is a chip off the old block so to speak as his Dad Matt is a skilled dio maker.
The pictures are not in any particular order as I would take forever to sort out.
For your delectation.

Just amazing how you guys have been able to come up with so many quality dio's. That Centurion looks speco. Good news about the ALH, cannot wait. Those additional Aussie's in combat mode are a must. The Ancient Egyptians just complete the deal for me. Robin.

Well campers that is it, I apologize if I either doubled up or missed any pictures as I took so many and lost track.
As to who won what that I will leave to Brett who will post the results after he has had long nanny nap after a big weekend. But yours truly was chuffed.
