Hello everybody,
I've heard alot about king and country crimean war figures. I know k&C UK does an exclusive but I was wondering if King and country is going tostart a Crimean war line. AlsoI am new to the forum and I was wondering about the ranks given to users(privat,Lt.,Colonel etc) and I was wondering how toobtain them:confused::confused:

Welcome Robert! I have heard rumors that K & C is going to eventually expand the Crimean War series to include the 93rd Highland Regiment among others.

As to ranks, it is based on how many postings you have. As you post more, you will eventually work your way up the chain of command.

You are in Jacksonville, have you been to Tim Tyler's shop?

Ken

I have been to Troops of Time. Tim Tyler and I are good friends. We are in a war gaming group together. I buy all my stuff from him. Thank you for the welcome!!!!

...I know k&C UK does an exclusive but I was wondering if King and country is going tostart a Crimean war line....

My understanding is that K&C UK has a contract of exclusivity with K&C HK.

Accordingly, I assume that K&C HK will not start is own Crimean War serie.

Having said that, I will probably receive my four sets next week. I am very impatient to have a look at them.

Pierre.

Pierre is correct. K & C UK is paying the freight on the whole thing and will unveil or at least have the second series available in Chicago. Mike, Tony and Bob work very closely with Andy and I can't imagine that he would make a series competitive with theirs.

And they arrive on Monday!!!!!!!:)

Pierre is right. K&C UK have desingend the range with Andy and were given th eoption of a few lines that K&C HK were not/are not going to do. Mike, Tony and Bob chose the Crimean range.

They have paid for the design, production of the range and as such it is exclusivly theirs.

They intend to add to it every six months and the next release is in December and the designs have been done for that already. There was a thread about the ideas coming out in December. They will i understand it from Mike be moving onto various other aspects of the War.

Rob................i went in and picked mine up. the beauty of living up the road from K&C UK and not being away on business!. i got the four sets and then went back and bout two more lancers as the little diorama is cool.

Tony showed the base he is working on for you and Eazy ........guess what he is now doing a third!:)

Hey Jake,

Sounds cool, wow your really lucky living up the road from them. Can't wait to get them on Monday.I am picking my base up at the show on the 30th,and then there will be a lovely little slice of British History on my office desk!

Cheers Jake(are you going to the show?)

Rob

Guys

2nd day of shipping on the Crimean range.

Myself and Andy have designed the concept of the Crimean range with Andy and his creative team giving it the K&C flare!

The range is entirly owned by ourselves at K&C UK with Andy having no intention of selling it himself. The range is being allowed to be taken where ever Myself and primarily Mike feel that we want it to go. Finance permitting!

It is a K&C UK Exclusive.

Those that have it like it and i hope those that get it this week like it also as much as thoughs that already have it.

If I could make one request and that is complete the Charge before rushing into some other aspect of the war. It was irritating with Britains when they left teh Hougomot stuff hanging for about 7 years before returning to the theme.
That is my five cents worth. It looks a great series and I am waiting for my order

You will see that we will be moving all around the Crimean campaign but each time we release a new battle there will still be addtions to the previous.

We have in our heads a natural cuttoff for each battle of the campaign and i feel that this will not disapoint the collector.

Tony

I just received my 17th Lancers. These are easily the most magnificent pieces I've ever seen from K&C. Sight unseen I can tell you I'm in for the next set in December. Great job Tony. I agree with Rob, even the boxes are fantastic.

Everything Is Excellant About The Crimean War Stuff. I Wish More Itenms Were Available.

Well worth the sacrifice. The prostetics are covered by my medical plan.:D:D
