King and Country museum (1 Viewer)

Recently visited the King and Country museum in Hong Kong and all I can say is wow!. Arranged the visit with Fanny who graciously welcomed us and Andrew (Praetorian) gave my wife and I a very interesting run down on some of the more unusual pieces. By chance Andy was around and entertained us for the rest of the visit. As Showman said in his thread , it was a delight to catch up with Andy and talk toy soldiers. He didn’t know I was dropping by but gave up his time to chat to myself and my wife and give us a tour of the museum. Thanks Andy for a great afternoon!
The museum itself was awesome, a whole room of shelf after shelf of wonderfully laid out figures and vechicles and quite a few diorama’s. Andy gave credit to Gordon for the cool lay out of the figures. There are many interesting pieces , my own favourite was the never released romans in blue. If you ever get a chance drop in and see it , one of the highlights of our trip.

You know Andy had mentioned a couple from Australia stopped by, you were it ! A neat place indeed and great people !

Well its a bit like the disneyland parks around the world rather than there just being one, there's one in Hong Kong, New York and patrouge must have some collection in Paris. Wonder is there one in Tokyo
The collection I saw in Hong Kong was really outstanding ,especially the prototypes, and the display of the collections was vey cool, didn't get a chance to take pics , there were a few items I'm sure I wasn't supposed to see but my lips are sealed
