Today she is only banned from my room, a second similar incident would probably ban her from my bed .

Too much information Guy, too much information!:D

I read that wrong and thought you said; ''I am glad to say they all recovered from this adventure with no visual physical damage except for my wife who suffered severe damage''. I knew you Europeans had short tempers ,but I was going to say that was a little unfair :D

ID Although I have a little bit of Spanish blood running through my veins ,I am a gentle guy and I think she was punished enough when I based her obligatory financial compensation on the prices charged on e-bay

I have had a DD045 Sherman 105mm sitting in a box for 5 or 6 years. I finally sort of have space to put some items on display at my house and I finally took it out of the box.
The night before vacation the wife called us all in to the office to show the kids and I something on the computer and of course the young cat had to join us.

I walk out , a minute later the cat jumps up and the tank is toast! Gun barrell is broken off, treads chewed up and paint chips, etc!

I can repair it but it just won't be the same.

What is your worst mishap?

Sell it in parts mate, sell the actual tank, some collectors look for broken vehicles, I for instance love broken vehicles as one can use them as blown up and damaged behicles in displays!

That's a true heartbreaker !
Mine was very minor (so far), my Bulldog pups raided my KC Crusader's Shelf in my bookcase and chewed up a Saracen archer (luckily they didn't try to ingest any of the parts). That figure is now a dismembered casualty on my higher Crusader shelf (lol).

Don't ever wear a long sleeve shirt with hanging sleeves. Thinking you have room to maneuver around a crowded curio cabinet resulted in one figure getting scooped up and going from the top shelf to the next one underneath it,taking
out additional figures along the way. ! A dab or two of touch up paint did the trick.....luckily. {sm2}

These dogs, make me think it is time for a Walker Bulldog Tank!

Evening folks;
My horrible story doesn’t involve and K&C, or any toy soldiers for that fact, nor a cat.

One of my other hobbies is to build "wooden" ships. Not the kind of kit that you get in a hobby shop for a few dollars but the kind that you simply get a set of plans and a pile of wood, strings and some very BASIC instructions . (Something like……. (1) cut wood; (2) glue or tack wood together; (3) rig ship; (4) Your done!)

Well to keep it short, after 23 months of working on “Le Superbe” I am in the middle of rigging. My Sister-in-law, at my house for a visit, goes into my hobby room to get some tool she wanted to borrow. A Dremel tool I believe. It was behind the model.

As she pulls the tool out, she catches the masts and the entire 23 months of blood , sweat and tears falls over and crashes to the floor. To make matters worse, she came back down stairs got into her car and left without even mentioning it. {eek3}
The coward called from her home an hour later. It took 8 months to fix the damage.

Let’s say there was an extra seat at the holiday dinner table for a few years!!!
