Thankyou my friend, I would hope there was a big improvement over the 'originals'...Those first ones were produced more than 20 years ago!
However to be fair, the 'originals' were pretty good for that time and were very popular.
All the best,
Andy.

These are beautiful figures but the soldiers have once again a small handicap: They do not possess rifles. Will they have a chance against the Indians? Not on my prairie ..

E. ‘John Ford Cavalry Reinforcements’
Four more mounted cavalrymen to increase your ‘John Ford Cavalry’ troop collection.

TRW169 “Trooper Turning in the Saddle”
Another fine mounted figure half-turning in the saddle. This figure also has the ‘moveable-head’ feature.

TRW170 “Trooper Leaning Forward”
One more recruit to the mounted ranks of ‘John Ford’s Cavalry’ . With fixed head position.

TRW171 “Mounted Cavalry Officer”
A new officer to lead the men on patrol. With the ‘moveable-head’ feature.

TRW172 “First Sergeant”
A very experienced troop sergeant probably Irish, because that’s how director John Ford liked to portray his senior non-commissioned officers in his movies. Also with the ‘moveable-head’ feature.

AVAILABLE: Mid-Late July

Totally agree. I do appreciate your your work from the 90s when I first started collecting and enjoy the pieces I still have . However, it is amazing how much more realism there is in today's products.

Is this on purpose?

I like these figures very much and will buy them. But it's a little strange that US cavalry is only armed with pistols. That wasn't John Ford's idea. Otherwise John Wayne would not have survived in his films.
I don't know what the purpose could be. Maybe King&Country wanted to keep production costs low. These figures are relatively cheap.

During a tumultuous time, it's really nice to see July dispatches helping bring back some normalcy. Thanks Andy and K&C!
I particularly like the new Pacific sets. Looking forward to creating some battle scenes with these fearless Leathernecks.

Happy 4th everyone!

I like the new hand to hand releases. Love to see some German/Russian figures in the same type of poses for Stalingrad.

Hey Guys ... I'm BACK! {eek3} Just when you thought it was safe on the forum ... LaRRY appears. {sm2}

I have been busy collecting, but not able to use the keyboard, mouse and such. Anyway, wrists and hands much better now so ..... Good way to jump back into the Forum is with these K&C Dispatches.

What a wonderful surprise to see updated (an greatly improved) IWJ sets. Definitely adding those two sets to the collection of USMC.
This gives me hope that we might see other IWJ sets will be re-introduced into the current USMC line.

The Bazooka man will also be coming this way.
But, I am curious (on this figure) why there is not second figure loading (or holding) the next bazooka round into the tube as part of a set?
Maybe a future addition?

I did pickup the earlier Thomas Gunn 2 Man Marine Bazooka team, so it will be interesting to see how well they fit together.

Glad to be back gents.

Now on to other threads .... so very far behind.

Please let me know : are there any inscriptions or insignia on the top of this rider's cap?
