Really nice sets, the Vietnam sets look good and open a question for me, I was considering starting collecting a new range, I liked the look of the J Jenkins Aztec range, colourful and a bit different, but the new Vietnam sets have got me thinking again.........
Good book on Vietnam I re-read is 365 days by Ronald J Glasser.

Hi Mr. W,
'365 Days' is also one of my favourite books on the Vietnam War. It's a collection of short stories written by a doctor, Ronald J. Glasser MD, who served in Vietnam. Outstanding and occasionally heart-breaking...Highly recommended.
Andy.

I agree, the book is touching, straight talking and is informing and entertaining. I must have read it or parts of it thirty odd times in the years I have had it, plus have bought it for friends.

Pre-ordered the set of the Hue '68 Marines today along with the WW2 Marines and thinking of diorama ideas for these new Marines. At present thinking of trying out something along the lines of a ruinous Buddhist Temple. Really looking forward to seeing what sort of theme the K&C diorama takes as usual it'll be a masterpiece no doubt and give us all lots of ideas and perhaps previews of later releases !

Andy, I think we'll be needing an updated Jeep for these little fellas, perhaps with a recoilless rifle mounted on it like the IDF one !

Yes Steve the new Vietnam series gives a lot of possibilities for a Diorama! I am also very curious what kind of diorama Andy is going to make for these 68 Marines! But I think it is the city of Hue. I found a few beautiful Vietnam buildings 1:35 scale.

I think we may well have been looking at same buildings facades Harrie ! Seems to be plenty in 1.35 scale, though those may look too much out of scale with 1.30, I notice one thing most of those two story buildings have in common are balconies. Made to hold snipers !

You too mate, The terrain tutor on youtube has a whole series of videos on foamboard buildings. Giving them a French colonial / Oriental look would probably fit the look we're be looking for.

The Malay could be used in this diorama scene {sm4} - yup getting this set

Maybe I dismissed these 2 figures too quickly. Interesting photo. Robin.

This looks an excellent release, definitely one for my D day collection. Seeing this makes me think of what a good job K&C could do on a Battle of Britain era RAF operations table.

Just got back from the MFCA SHOW 2018 in Trevose, PA. More on that in the <SHOW> folder later.

I picked up "2" yes "2 " {eek3} of the King and Country stretcher sets USMC025; two JN figures, along with some other goodies. {sm4}

No question these 3 new USMC figures will be added to my Marine invading force ... beauties indeed!
Not sure if I will call him Stryker though ... :rolleyes2: ... not that I don't like John Wayne, mind you just not sure.

I am very happy with the way Andy and the K&C staff is working this fantastic series and the exciting new sets each month.

Wayne ... great thought.

I have been gathering some figures and a few HK buildings to make a "Fall of Singapore" scene.

I have the FOB sets FOB079 and FOB080 along with the EA028 stretcher set as well as the appropiate JN figures.
HOWEVER, I was wondering what HK civilian figures would look right in the scene. I think you nailed it with these two ... thanks!!!
