KING & COUNTRY Dispatches -- October 2017 (2 Viewers)

Great mixture and quality this month, but nothing from the ranges I collect, so a bad month for me, but a good month for the bank balance.

Le Tour de Malaya 1941

would have to be the best of this current batch for October.

I'm sure they will be a big hit this month at the luncheon in Singapore, so well done on anther fine piece of history in miniature.

ANDY ... question.
Is the JN-SO2 (a package) of the previous released JN-012 AND JN-013?

Thank you

AL 92 is a must have- it is absolutely adorable and will be the first KC product Ive picked up in a few years. Easily one of my favorite releases for 2017.

In regards to the Roman Auxillary archers- ROM019 appears to not have an arrow nocked in the group shot yet the individual picture appears to show he has one- is this something where there is a loose arrow in the box that the collector has to situate or am I missing something here? The entire grouping does appear to be very similar in pose (not painting) to current offerings from other companies. Not unforgiveable as there are only so many poses that can be attained with archers. The painting does seem rather bright unfortunately.

Okay, I get it now ... The Plane alone is available (JN046)($239) or you can get the Plane and Pilot (JN-S01)($269) or you can get the Plane and the armorers. (JN-S02)($339)

I suppose you could also buy all three.

Still early morning in the East Coast of Maine ....:wink2:

Just got the first Saving Private Ryan set the other day. They are excellent figures all around. Set #2 will be a must along with the single Pvt. Ryan figure.
The Marines seem hard to shy away from. They will be next on my list....Then I will need a few Japanese figures.

At $49.50 a piece, the two figures in JN013 were some of the more expensive figures in the KC catalog:

JN-SO2 is either quite a bargain, or a suggestion that JN013 was too “dear” for a lot of collectors to begin with. :)

I agree with Chris. A very nice and unusual release.

Question for Andy: I loved the ability to buy the entirety of the last Israeli release for a discount. I want to purchase this entire group as well, but I don't want to miss out on the possibility of a later deal. Do you plan on doing something similar to what you did with the last release?

AL092 “Skippy the Mascot & His Handler”
From time immemorial soldiers and armies have had animal mascots... In Egypt and Palestine, during the First World War, the Australian Light Horse had a kangaroo called “Skippy” as one of their divisional mascots.
Here, we see him with his personal “handler” having a polite conversation...

I think that Skippy's owner did come back from Gallipoli in 1915, and so the he's been taken into the care of the cavalry for the duration ??

This is an picture of a Kangaroo mascot, smuggled onboard a troopship and being introduced to camp life by the pyramids.

As you can see, the new K&C figure is based on a real event.

Hi there,
many thanks for your enquiry...the prices on these latest IDF figures and vehicle... are 'as is'...
Apologies we cannot always do the special offer as we did on the first release...The reason back there was to 'introduce' our IDF range to a whole new batch of collectors.
As it stands this 2nd. batch of IDF are still great vale and quality for the price....I hope you will agree.
Best wishes and happy IDF collecting!
Andy.
