Here is a quick cell phone pic to show an acrylic 5 shelf display case that I use for
some of my K&C figures. It has a center mounted front opening door held in place by
2 hinge pins. This case can hold a bunch of figures and small vehicles and aircraft. It
can be table top mounted, stacked on top of the other or attached to a corner of
a wall thanks to its V shape design. For more info contact: Giovanniplastics.com
This will open up the Carney plastics web sight. Here you can choose from a vast array of display cases to fit your individual needs !!!! :salute:: :salute:: :salute::

I love these cases. I have been using them for years. They allow you to view your collection from all sides. This company will also make custom cases for you.

This is the kind of layout I have dreamed of for years. Thanks for posting. cheers, Robin.

Hey toy soldier brigade, Great pic of your acrylic display cases. This is a fine example
of how the collector can configure these cases to suite individual needs. That room
looks great !!!! To answer the previous question about dimensions I recommend going
to the Giovanniplastics.com web site to see the full line of cases and dimensions
available. Again Giovanni will re-direct you to carney as this is the name they changed to. :salute:: :salute:: :salute::

This style has shelves 18"L x 4.5"H x 4"D Giovanni Plastics was bought by Carney Plastics. Not sure if they still make this Style. They were made for displaying die-cast models

I also have larger cases for larger models.

thanks. I have an floor model acrylic display cabinet with 11 shelves 32" wide x 6" high and 15" deep. It was specifically to hold 1:18 scale F1 racing cars which are not very tall. But I am afraid to put NAPs, Crusaders, Sons of the empire or mounted figures in it for fear of hitting the underside of the next shelf and snapping an upraised flag or spear or bayonet when I move the figure around. (I am very clumsy and do break things)

Prices don't seem too bad, does anyone know how much they charge for custom work? Is there a formula they use?

Yes, Custom display cases are priced along the same lines as their regular cases but
made to your individual specifications. I;E add a shelf, omit dividers, etc. I am getting
ready to order another one next week to display soldier sets and small vehicles.

The display cases and their contents look super. I wonder if anyone on these forums knows if anything like those acrylic cases are available in the United Kingdom.?

Dear PanzerAce1944:

Real nice display cases!

"Iron Brigade"

I needed a case to fit next to a window that was 4 inches narrower to continue my run down the wall. It was about 70.00 more then the retail on the other cases. It took about five weeks. The problem is that they usually set up production to do a large run of the standard sizes. They won't do you custom until they finish those. In my case since it was close to a standard size they made it when they were doing that size.

To Phantom Warrior:

Terry - many thanks for a UK contact for these cases.

David

Glad to see some are getting help in this area. Displaying a collection properly and
safely is key to its appearance. Thanks to Toy Soldier Brigade and the others who
helped shed some light on this topic !!!! :salute:: :salute:: :salute::

Thanks for your photo. Without it I would not have thought a similar unit I had would have high enough shelves to work - but they do and I now have an entire cabinet to use.
