Over the years I've collected K & C Glossy Napoleonics, starting from the odd one I bought on eBay several years ago to where I've now amassed more than a few {eek3} so here goes :smile2: Will try to post a few each night.

First up are the red "Dutch Lancers" of the Imperial Guard, five lancers with pennants and a bugler in reverse facings with a French Cavalry Guidon.

Excellent! Looking forward to seeing more. It's not a range we get to see often

Great to see these older style figures...

can anyone else post more, as I've hardly seen any from this range as it was out before I resumed collecting NAPs.

Anyone know of a catalogue listing so see what was made???

John

Strange to think K&C started off with gloss figures, you have some nice looking figures in your collection Brad. ^&cool

Looking forward to seeing the rest.

John, K & C generally made some (not a lot) between 1993 and 1998. There is not a catalogue listing but I can draw up a list from the various brochures.

Thanks Jeff. Until Andy made Arnhem, gloss was their bread and butter. Around 1999/2000, they went to matte all the time, except for the Streets of Hong Kong range.

Thanks for starting this thread, Brad! I like to see these early K&C's, too. I think they really show their relationship to the "Chinese style" of earlier makers like King-White/Reeves.

Prost!

Prussian Landwehr! Was there a set, with a color, perhaps, or just individual figures?

Prost!

Brad,

These figures tended to be issued in sets of six. However, it's not that easy to find them that way anymore and they tended to be broken up so that when you find them nowadays they're as single figures.

The Napoleonics would work very well in displays with the old Reeves Napoleonics, I think.

Prost!
