I am a very big fan of those special releases by K&C that represent a particular historical moment rather than part of a military campaign. For example, the recent release of the Big Three at Yalta was snapped-up by me and I have been on the hunt for sets that I have missed in recent years because I am a relative newcomer to this hobby. I thought I would share two recent acquisitions that I am especially pleased to have found. They cost me a fair bit but at prices that work out at less than $50 per figure I am happy. Apologies in advance for the poor quality photos.

Please let me know about your favourite historical moments available in 1/30. The two below look great on a shelf with my library on WWII. :)

Great reminders of iconic moments in history, K&C do it well. I thought one of the best although I do not have it, is the British surrendering to the Japanese in Singapore, right out of the pages of history. Nice thread, hope others post some moments also. My last diorama was the capture of you know who in Iraq. Cheers, Robin.

2 fine sets.Who would have ever thought Toy Soldier sets on real assassination attempts. !

Two splendid vignettes of two famous moments in WW2, how different the course of the War may have been if both had succeeded ? Thanks for posting, very much like these historical snapshot moments.
