Howard, Did you confirm if they were all metal?Guys,
I have it on good authority that the first 48 of HK226 The Hong Kong Tramcar sold out very quickly and a new batch is being produced. I have already place my pre-order with K&C in HK to have this as a centre piece in my K&C Museum. Get in quick as this is an outstanding piece which all SOHK collectors should consider a "must have".
Cheers Howard
Whoever has the $500 bid on the one listed on Ebay is going to have buyers remorse after 2nd batch comes out.
I emailed to try to order one and k&c emailed back that they will hold one IF they make more. Not sure what the deal is. Are we sure their making more?
Original price was $102 which hardly seems of any substance towards profitable returns (48 X 102 =$4896) $50 dollar figures and $100 Tramcars is just strange! How these pieces sneak themselves out and how Howard of all people missed out is also strange...but that would be considered a fair market with a fairly priced piece?Has this tram been advertised in K&C's website. Could not locate it now even in the retired items page. Can anyone there advise the original price of this item please?? Any news of the 2nd batch?? Thanks.
