Thanks Chuck! Just following the path that you and others on this forum who have gone before me.

Kevin,
I embedded the figures into the sculpting putty before it dried. All the embedded figures were extras that I bought separate from the tanks off Ebay. I know that this method is not the preferred choice for many but I think it maximizes the visual reality.

Thanks to all for the comments. I had never made a diorama prior to joining this forum but have gotten a lot of inspiration from looking at Alex's work and from the work of many other fine craftsmen in this forum.
