I gotta believe that the Stuka is a doable project in die-cast. I know it would mean going to a new material for the manufacturers we are discussing, but if Armor and Corgi can do 1/48 and 1/32 die cast, the leap to 1/30 isn't a huge gap, especially when such large craft as a B-17 or B-24 have been done in 1/48. I still see shipping a Stuka of this size and weight as a cost issue, but maybe die-cast is the only practical solution, at this point. -- Al
I forgot about those SBD's. They are gorgeous models, and they are big. A Stuka has to be possible. -- AlHobby Master has done several versions of the SBD 3 Dauntless in diecast in 1:32 scale. The Dauntless is almost the size of a Stuka - just 3 ft. shorter and a wingspan 3 ft. less.

Thanks, Brad. I won't say a word.:rolleyes2: -- AlAl,
I think PA said that was something Andy was looking into. However, I have a feeling that if Andy tells PA something he will be sworn to secrecy :wink2:
