Nice one PA and that Jerry better get out of the way of the muzzle flash!

Tom

Nice one Wayne. I have this TCS King Tiger as well and it's a nice model. Well done.

It's a shame CS is too to be out with FL..

I think you meant "Too Big" for FL ? Yes CS and K&C, TG are without a doubt larger than the smaller FL figures. I personally prefer the 1/30 scale to 1/28 scale stuff !

Wayne

I'm wrapped they are big and don't go with the FL little stuff suits me fine ^&grin

The best things about TCS Armor is size and functionality i.e. opening hatches, damaged tracks etc. The 1/28 scale works with a larger range of figures than any other manufacturers. I really like the accuracy and detail of Figarti Armor; but they look silly with figures standing taller than the deck like on my Panther G. The TCS Jagdpanther is my favorite TCS vehicle. The rear hatch opens and I use the superb TCS loading crew with it; which make a really nice display. No other polystone Jagdpanther made to date has an opening rear hatch. The same with the Kingtigers, much greater functionality and realism for the price. The Stug III Ausf J is also one of TCS best to date.

The Thrown track feature along with additional hatches are a nice feature of CS Armor.

Yeah, It is a really nice King Tiger with the added accessories for only $179.00. Too bad it does not get the attention that it Truly does deserve !

Wayne

Yes...most people like more KnC pink and semi fluorescent green they used...{sm2}

TCS has also done its share of flourescent green camouflage; not to mention beige dunkelgleb!
Figarti and Thomas Gunn are the only polystone armor makers to get German three color camouflage right. The Figarti Panzerjager IV and the TG Hetzer are text book examples of the correct colors.

The Thomas Gunn Puma has a better shade of dunkelgelb than the Hetzer.

I disagree with your comments as saying "TGM and Figarti are the only polystone armor makers to get German three color camouflage right". I have quite a few TGM and Figarti AFV's in my collection (as well as many K&C and some TCS) and I will say the camo is good but I wouldn't say they are the only manufacturers getting it right. I think many K&C AFV's have got good camo schemes and I would put them in the category of getting it right.

I agree with Hunter Rose about the TGM Puma (SdKfz 234/2 version if that's the one he is referring to) having a better shade of dunkelgelb than the TGM Hetzer. I think the Hetzer is a little to greenish for my liking. I am not to fond of the camo schemes on TCS AFV's and perhaps they didn't get it right. Some of their camo schemes still look ok though.

Tom

I fail to see any paint issues with the King Tiger in this post ?

Wayne

I don't have a TCS KT in my collection PA but from what I can see from your pic's and other pic's I have seen of this tank, I think the camo scheme looks quite good. So I suppose I should say they have done good to ok on German three colour camouflage although in my opinion I think they have done poorly on some AFV releases such as the sdkfz232 and sdkfz222 armoured cars.

Tom

TCS Tiger 11 not only has a reasonable camo, but it is good size tank next to the figures, it comes across as a giant of a tank, as it should be. Really happy to have it in my collection. Robin.
