Howdy Collectors!

Join us this afternoon for the The Chicago Toy Soldier VIRTUAL show!

The show, which is being streamed via Zoom presentation, begins at 4pm CST/5pm EDT.
Register on the Chicago Toy Soldier Show website for the link to the show
https://chicagotoysoldiershow.com/ctsvs/

Kings X is presenting 6th in the line up which would probably put us presenting at about 4:20/4:30pm CST.

I'll be showing our Kings X exclusive Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday which are now back in stock!

Andy has also sent me MANY photos of upcoming releases! You won't want to miss out!
I'm pretty excited to share these updates as they are all figures that I have had requested in the shop over the years.
Besides new releases these photos also show a taste of what Andy and the K&C team would've shown in Chicago.

As many of you know, Kings X has moved out of The Menger Hotel. I'll have an update on how the new location is coming along.

The folks at The Chicago Toy Soldier Show have put in a lot of work into making this a good time for all as well as cyber safe.
I'm happy to support their innovative endeavor as it keeps the hobby as a whole strong! So I hope you guys will join us this afternoon and also for the additional dealers presenting Sunday afternoon.

Virtually see y'all later this afternoon!

Howdy Guys,

Thanks to those of you who could join us this afternoon on Zoom.

I have to say that I enjoyed the virtual show more than I thought I would.
Its really a testament to the work the organizers, Roger, Jan, Gillian and Co. put into the endeavor.

There were two questions that I didn't get to:

Well, one was really a request which was for a mounted General Custer. I'll leave that for Andy to ponder.

Second question was "where will the new Kings X store be located?"

The new store will be in the Alamo Heights neighborhood of San Antonio, just 10 minutes from downtown, on Broadway street.
Keep on eye on the forum for more news on the location and opening as we get nearer to the new year.

Anyone with any questions regarding all the K&C updates I shared please feel free to ask on the forum, email or call (210) 226-7000

Thanks and enjoy your weekend!

Some figures in uniforms from the movie They died with their boots on would be great.{eek3}

Now the show's over, where can the rest of us see these photos of future releases please ?

Steve

Howdy Guys,
Apologies for the delay! Yes! I would love to share the update with y'all.
Looks like some of you tech savvy fellows have posted some screen shots already.

My first presented slide featured some upcoming water buffalo. Now if any of you attended The Chicago Show last year, you might remember that Andy had some water buffalo that he purchased from Scott Schleh. Its cool to see the K&C take on the water buffalo as well as the Vespa gals...which you'll see in an upcoming photo. You'll also notice a village chief talking with a young Vietnamese boy which are coming releases as well.

Thanks for posting the photo Amber, The Water Buffalo look great !
Be great too if Andy was to add a Water Buffalo pulling a plough and Farmer figure set !

Second...we debuted a preview of our upcoming Texas Confederate Cavalry! Awesome news to have Confederate cavalry back in the shop and they're Texans to boot!

In the shop, I was asked nearly every day where the American Civil War soldiers were and now we'll have a few. Who knows...if these do well enough maybe Andy would consider bringing the series back to life
These are the second version of K&C's Confederate Cavalry in all new color schemes and better painting...The 29th Texas Cavalry will feature 7 figures to add to your ACW scenes!

Napoleon's Foreign Allies...
Since beginning work for K&C in 2007, I have learned so much about the Napoleonic Wars! Before working in the shop I thought Napoleonic history to be so boring...NOT so!
Especially after Gordon recommended I watch Waterloo!
Below are K&C's Polish 'Vistula Lancers' and Italian 'Grenadiers of the Guard'...which Andy says have rarely been in the toy soldier world and (as you might imagine) would make a fine addition to K&C's extensive Napoleonic Collection.

Great Plains of the American West during the 1860's
While Andy was visiting Texas in February, we got a sneak peak of the new dynamic American Bison (Buffaloes) that were to come. Now here are some exciting new Indians chasing and hunting to join your TRW scenes!

Seen in the smaller photo is a fallen Indian whose pony has been gored by an enraged Bull Buffalo. Trapped by his fallen house the terrified Indian screams to be rescued by his fellow tribal hunters.

Nice to see a higher resolution image of these new figures and now it sure looks like Andy has remade some older figures, The Imperial Guard Grenadiers (NA57, 58, 60-63) and Dutch Lancers NA161, 162, 165-7), and painted them as Italian and Polish troops.

I have always liked both sets, and as the uniforms were the same cut as the original figures, repainting them is a good way of producing different forces from the Napoleonic Wars. This is a very economical way of getting different troops onto the miniature battlefield and his is what I have done with some French Guard figures in my collection so I could have Italians in green coats.

Looking forwards to them coming n 2021.

If its not too late in the production .. if K&C could swap mounts for the Lancers, that would really add variety to these refreshed sets. I have begged for Polish Lancers for so so long ... yet I am underwhelmed by these as offered.
