Martin suggested that I post some pictures of my own collection since he has posted some pictures of his own collection on here.

As will be abundantly clear, I'm more a fan of WW2 and specifically of fighting vehicles than the Alamo and Napoleonics (although I love them too, I just don't have the $$$ to collect everything!)

I'm having some difficulty with the forums cutting off most of the pictures. I will try and fix this tonight when I get home from work.

Wow ... what a collection you have {sm4}

I was cautious of the mirror. I waited until I was in my work clothes on my way out the door this morning before I took any pictures (And I cleaned up the area of the apartment that you can see in the reflection). Also I made sure that the brave little Stuart tank was protecting my identity!

And as far as dios I have some projects I am beginning a series of projects tomorrow that will A) keep me busy and B) look awesome!

They are, however, also paid projects, so I will have to ask if I can post pictures of them when they are done.

Jp, very cool are your displays my friend. I saw your displays at the Texas Show and so awesome they were.

You are just the man we need filling the Russian space buddy!.

Give us a T-38 tank battle like never before!!

Ludwig!!

JP, you are a young guy right now and have a nice size collection. Imagine 5 years from now if you keep adding to it.
Good choice of vehicles that you have there. !!!

Reinforcements!

Give us a T-38 tank battle like never before!!
Ludwig!!

That is definitely on my to-do list.

I'd also like to make a diorama for the Fall of France with figures like this:

As this pocket of resistance collapses, the already-surrendered French tanker sneaks a quick look with his binoculars at the unstoppable German war-machine as it rolls on towards Paris. At some point I will add some refugees to my collection.

My real love is planes (having a dad in the US Air Force contributed to this)... but tanks are a lot smaller and slightly cheaper. Plus... you can have a scene where they are fighting on a counter such as what my apartment complex *intended* to be a dry bar, but is now serving as a battlefield. The planes I did hang from the ceilings at one of the last houses I rented, but I don't know when I will have time to do that here.

You will be better off with a King&Country "Dry Bar" in the end !!! Plus no hangover the next morning....Just polystone heaven {sm3}

Thank you Ludwig! I am planning on getting some outdoor projects done for my mom who has a bad back.

I definitely do want to do a Kursk display, I have 2 Panthers, a Tiger, a Panzer IV, a panzer III (they stopped using them after the Kursk campaign), the 2 German T-34s and a damaged Elefant for my Germans. I still need Andy to make some more Russian vehicles. I'm kicking myself I didn't buy the Katyusha when I had a chance.

A Stalingrad scene is in my list of current projects

Thank you everyone for your compliments on my collection, I have been collecting since May of 2007 when I started working here at Kings X (I actually started the day after my High School Graduation). I really feel that my passion for history has made a positive impact on the store here for the general customer experience.

I just got back from my mini "vacation" in Colorado (it isn't much of a vacation when you are using a chainsaw to cut up logs for 4 days in a row!) and I will hopefully post some more pictures soon. Probably a mock Russian battle in the area that I have my Fall of France pictures above.
