Hi fellow addicts... as some of you may know I recently caught up with Jack at my local dealer and he was kind enough to bring along Waynepoo's Hangar so I could get an idea of scale and size. Well I have been busy... ^&grin Attached you will find some photos of the hangar so far. It is almost complete except for the roof and the external paint and weathering. All comments welcome :)

all the best
Marc

I am really really impressed.
Don't you blokes have a job..................^&grin

You have been busy since Saturday.

The interior detail is very good. Particularly like the We Want You Kitchener frame.

Great work.

I am impressed with no exclamation marks. Very good Mr Womble.

Really impressed with the amount of accessories in the hangar. Know you have not finished, but the thing that looked wrong was the cleanliness of the floor. No doubt your weathering comment will take care of this. This diorama could be viewed in a museum. Very well done, a great project.:salute::Robin.

Marc I know what's involved in constructing a hangar and you have excelled! the interior bits and bobs are outstanding, well done mate, a true 'Dingo' is born. I just don't have the time anymore to have such fun building things so I will enjoy watching your projects......:salute::

Cheers Wayne, thanks for the kind words  The reason I grabbed your buildings was that they really are a sensational reference. There will be more projects in the not too distant future !!!! Hopefully I can seek some advice on the odd occassion.... ^&grin

Hi Robin, yes I still have some work to do. As I come from a model railroad background (where EVERYTHING is about REALISM) I can appreciate that the small detail items really make the difference. Anyway... I'm having FUN ^&grin

Always welcome mate.
Wayne.

Marc,
Hopefully you will make it so that the roof can come off as the interior view looks better than from the front where you will miss all the detail.

Superb handmade work. Everything a WW1 hanger dio should be. The interior detail is what makes it all work so well. Great choice of aircraft, as well.:wink2: -- Al
