Emilio's French Line Foot Artillery figures and Cannon are now on his website and I think they look great. I've ordered two sets of figures already ! {sm4}
Here's the link:

I would like to see some more figures in different poses added to the crew, though I expect Emilio will want to see how successful these are first before adding any more.

Thank you Steve

I have in my workbench at least two new figures with this uniform, and two differents teams of artillerymen , but from the imperial guard foot artillery , and the line artillery in Austerlitz, i'll try to finish and post them in this week

Emilio,

I do like the new gunners that you have made for the 1812-15 period, a good set to provide support on the battlefields of Europe.

There is one problem I can see with the uniforms on all 4 figures, and that is that the cuff flaps on the sleeves are red. All my references show a blue cuff flap, with red piping, exactly what you have on the first figures on your website artillery page, but he is pre 1812 and has white gaiters.

The other thing which puzzles me is the gunner holding the telescope. NP 617 ARTILLERYMAN 1
np-617-artilleryman-1.jpg

The pose is fine, but I thought that telescopes would only be used by the gun captain, usually a senior NCO (sergeant) or an officer.
The gunner show no ranks stipes, gold on his epaulettes and is so not an NCO. neither is he an officer due to his equipment belts and badges of rank.
The other 3 gunners also have chin straps on their shako, this gunner doesn't !

I hope this can get sorted, because as far as I cam concerned, he doesn't belong with the other 3. Hope some other poses come out, like the NCO commanding the gun, and a gunner carrying a charge bag, even gunners man handling the gun.

Thanks for the notice, we will correct it immediately

The color of the cuf's flaps is already changed, and the piece chieff has been promoted to sergeant major

Hello Emilio,
Slowly getting there with the gunner holding the telescope.
This figure if he is to be a sergeant major will need to have his epaulettes changed. I currently cannot access the correct reference but I think traditionally a sergeant major's epaulette fringes were a mixture of gold and red in a ratio of 2/3 gold 1/3 red, the other way round for sergeants, plus the crescents at the end of the board are gold. Perhaps someone out their can help confirm this or otherwise.
Yours aye,
Douglas

I think you have all the reason, fortunately, our system of work is to paint the references when we receive your orders, which allows us to correct the faults, and even paint the models with the colors of another regiment if you wish. This detail will be corrected immediately

Emilio,

thanks for accepting my suggestion, and Douglas's about this gunner, he looks right now, and he can now command the gun to defend the Emperor's troops :)

It's great that you are able to achieve the modification so quickly and so provide collections with accurate and realistic miniatures,

well done .....

John

Hello Emilio,

I'd like to endorse John's comments. Your willingness and ability to adapt your figures to suggestions is appreciated. Hope the French artillery range is a big success for you.
I must save up and create some space, (this includes a bit of negotiation with the "senor partner" i.e. the wife), so that I can place an order with you. Oh! for a man shed/cave.
Yours,
Douglas

Well done Emilio !

I look forward to seeing the extra crew figures. Hopefully these will be well received and collected
And look forward to seeing your other new French Artillery figures as well.

How about some Napoleonic British Artillery Rocket troops next. As older TG figures are way too large to match up with WB and though FL are nice, they are expensive though I do have a couple. Some action poses would be great !?
