kronprinz new releases, december 2016 (1 Viewer)

Have just put in an order for all the 1898 Spanish infantry.

I have been waiting a long time for a manufacturer to produce Spanish-American war figures......
it has been a wasteland out there. Would love to see some Filipino soldiers or irregulars in the future..... either fighting for Spain , against Spain or against the Americans .....

Thanks Kronprinz !
Andrew
Thanks Andrew

Do not doubt that in the future will appear new figures of this series. I have enough documentation to make the figures of the Filipino fighters. Of those who served with the Spaniards and those who fought against us and the Americans. The native Civil Guard and the soldiers of the Katipunan.
But I have a little doubt. These men were considerably smaller and thinner than the occidentals
. I fear that the public considers it a mistake on the scale

If the weapons are the same scale it shouldn't be a problem. You never did say how your 28mm project is going.

Emilio,

That is fantastic news. The best news I have read on these chat boards all year!

I think on the scale issue you probably need to make a decision to only make some of the Filipinos
smaller ....... so if they were lined up on parade there will be an occasional dip in the line , but then
The fact that some are larger will reassure customers that the scales are correct. Added to the standard rifle size, as mentioned, it would be ok. And there are 1 or 2 western sized Filipinos also , so it is not too far from reality.

Alternatively you could completely ignore the issue like K&C have with their Second World War japanese and streets of Hk range.

All the best
Andrew

I started getting Kronprinz figures around September this year. I have fallen for these little guys and my New Years resolution is to get more. Such good figures and such good value.

these look really good. the 30 years war range especially. noticed they have a few wounded / dead pieces also, which K&C does not have in its Pike and Musket range.
good for dios.

given the monumental sixteenth century for Spain I would also think that a Cortes/ Pizarro range would be a good one for Kronprinz.
other than Morgan miniatures theres not much out there.....Given the Kronprinz quality and price I would buy for sure.

Emilo,

Excuse me if I've missed it on your website (promise I've looked extensively), but postage costs overseas?

To post to Hong Kong for example, do you have a purchase price minimum for free delivery like Treefrog or...?

perfect , i'll start to model it in a week or two

That's great Emilio, I look forward to seeing and ordering them !

Here's a couple of ideas, how about adding some civilian Peninsular War Spanish / Portuguese peasants and French / British camp followers as well to you Napoleonic range Emilio ?

Also how about some British troops in city siege assault poses such as climbing a ladder.

Hi steve
Yeah, that's a great idea. Lately we were thinking of opening two new series so that they were more or less ready the next Christmas. It is a Neapolitan Belen, and a Christmas village. EWl is first a representation of the birth of Christ to the eighteenth century style, with figures who wear the typical clothes of southern and central Europe. They would be peasants, artisans and countrymen in general. They would enter fully into the period of the seven-year war and the revolutionary and Napoleonic wars. The second would be more Victorian, and would cover the period from the Crimean War and the American Civil War to the late nineteenth century.
